Gopika wins 11th Ujala-Asianet Award

Last year Ujala-Asianet award for the best actress is won by Actress Gopika. She got this award for her performance in the super hit movie "Veruthe Oru Bharya". Gopika who left the film industry after her marriage is expected to get a great farewell treat through many popular awards for her acting in the Jayaram film. "Veruthe Oru Bharya" also got four other awars which are Akku Akbar (direction), Jayaram (popular actor), K Gireesh Kumar (screenplay) and Ranjan Abraham (Editing). But the best movie of last year is AMMA's twenty:20. Best actor is Mohanlal in 'Madambi'. Jagathy Sreekumar got special jury award for variety of performance in various movies. K J Yesudas will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievements Award. The award function will be held at Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium, Trivandrum on January 17.
